Winter Foodbank Collection – Saturday 17 January
​
As the festive season comes to a close, our commitment to supporting those in need continues with our Winter Foodbank. We will be collecting donations door-to-door on Saturday 17th January.
Please leave your items outside your home before 11:00am for our volunteers to collect. We’re also pleased to advise that the Co-op in Balsall Common will be hosting a permanent in-store drop-off point throughout the week leading up to, and over, the Foodbank weekend. On the day, you can also drop off donations at:

Co-op Car Park – 10:00am to 12:30pm
The White Horse (rear conference room) – 11:30am to 12:30pm

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year and a huge thank you for your wonderful support
of Santa’s Sleigh. Santa and his hardworking elves had an amazing time spreading festive
cheer around the village, and your generosity truly helped make the season brighter for so
many local families.
We’ll be holding our first Balsall Common Lions Club meeting of the year shortly, after which
we’ll be delighted to announce which local charities will be receiving donations from our
Christmas activities. We really couldn’t have done it without you.
Thank you for helping us keep the spirit of kindness and community alive – Santa would be
proud!
